Compared to petroleum diesel, Biodiesel from vegetable oil is estimated to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 78%.
It will also lower NOx and Particulate Matter by 30% to 40% in diesels with EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) systems."
Trucking is the life-blood of the American economy, and it runs on diesel. When biodiesel becomes mainstream, the environmental benefits will be substantial.
Biodiesel is not only a cleaner, renewable alternative to petroleum diesel but also a very effective biodegradable cleaner used for oil spills.
